All Gobi-X products are designed by our in-house draughtsman in Solidworks. The material used for our rear bumpers is CNC Laser Cut and Bent for superior accuracy and consistency. Only top quality certified steel is used for the manufacture of these products. Our products all go through a 6 bath pre-treatment process including a final stage of Metal Phosphate coating for superior rust prevention. The pre-treatment process is followed by an automotive quality powder coating layer applied for extended durability. The product includes 2 recovery points which form part of the chassis mounting brackets for increased strength.
The bumpers also include Hilift jacking points and come with the facility to fit two spare wheel carriers. (Or Jerry Can arms!) Units are also supplied with 6 pin trailer plug socket and 4 hole drop plate with gooseneck tow ball. The tail lights used in our bumpers are EU approved and LED units fitted for better visibility. Rear bumpers are fitted using only OEM mounting holes where possible. All mounting bolts are electro-plated High Tensile units.
